About the Filmmaker
Mohammad Touqir Islam
Mohammad Touqir Islam (1994, Bangladesh) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and cinematographer. He began filmmaking as a teenager and later studied at the Asian School of Media Studies in India. As the founder of Footprint Film Production, his work spans short films, web series, and documentaries. He has also served as a jury member for the International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh.
His projects include the web series Shaaticup (2022) and Sinpaat (2024). Delupi (2025) marks his feature-film debut.
